Congratulations to Tucker Toelke, whose early –career achievements were recently recognized by the North American Society for Trenchless Technology (NASTT).
Tucker, an Alternative Delivery Manager with Michels Trenchless, Inc., received the 2024 Ralston Young Trenchless Achievement Award at NASTT’s No-Dig show. The award honors NASTT members under age 36 who have demonstrated excellence and made valuable contributions to the trenchless technology industry.
A passionate trenchless pipeline professional, Tucker has been involved with the industry since 2015 when he was first exposed to trenchless new installation technologies while working as an intern. He joined Michels upon graduating from college, serving as a project engineer, trenchless engineer and manager. He has contributed his engineering expertise to more than 70 projects that span the world, including the United States, Canada, Carribean and Asia.
Tucker has developed projects in nearly every facet that the trenchless industry touches, such as oil and gas pipeline transmission and distribution, water and wastewater rehabilitation, and emerging underground electric applications. He made his first presentation at the No-Dig show at age 22 and continues to share his deep, forward-focused knowledge of the industry, presenting “Direct Steerable Pipe Thrusting for Land-to-Water Installations in an Emerging Renewable Energy Market” at this year’s event.
Thanks to our talented and dedicated people like Tucker, Michels continues to lead the way in safe, unobtrusive underground construction and rehabilitation.
