The General Manager fosters an environment for safe and profitable operations through planning and oversight of regional operations. General Managers set the strategic goals in coordination with the President or Vice President, and work with Senior and Project Managers to execute on them. Relationship management with clients and networking within the industry are other key objectives.

- You have experience in maintaining and promoting a strong safety culture for all employees, vendors, and customers and follow all safety and environmental policies, procedures and regulations. Identifying and communicating workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions.
- You have experience directing and overseeing operations in the region ensuring team goals are aligned with corporate and divisional goals.
- You understand external customer needs and maintain and develop relationships. Ensuring that every project is managed to maximize customer satisfaction.
- You enjoy building and sustaining relationships with clients and general/sub-contractors, both while on the job and through networking.
- You want to be in key role in executing troubled project recovery plans in conjunction with senior managers and project teams.
What it takes:
- Bachelor’s degree from 4-year college or university, 10 years of related experience, or equivalent combination.
- Must possess a valid driver license for the type(s) of vehicles which may be driven, and an acceptable driving record as determined by the Michels Review Team
- Ability to travel occasionally
