Michels quickly responds to restore power in Houston after hurricane

A large group of crew members stand outside the Michels storm response RV.

In the aftermath of Hurricane Beryl, Michels Power’s dedicated Storm Response Team is hard at work helping restore power to more than a million homes and businesses in Texas.

Even before the storm made landfall in the U.S. on July 8, the Storm Response Team was mobilizing and preparing for recovery efforts. Today, nearly 150 Michels Power people and a fleet of vehicles and equipment, including our mobile command center, are on the scene, working tirelessly to restore utility power lines in the greater Houston area. We are committed to remaining there until all lights are back on and air conditioners can run.

We are thankful for this incredible team’s reliability and dedication to working safely, efficiently and strategically during this critical time!
