Since 1999, Michels Corporation has been one of the main sponsors and organizes of Quarry Quest, an event founded to provide a better understanding of the construction and mining industries while also raising funds for local charitable organizations. Quarry Quest is held in one of Michels’ own quarries in Neenah, Wis. The popular event has raised more than $750,000 for the Bay Lakes Boy Scouts Council, Weis Earth Science Museum and other local charities.
